Leapfrog Sports Solihull is recruiting a confident and energetic Lead Children’s Multi-Sports Coach to join our team.
We deliver structured, fun and engaging multi-sports sessions for children aged 2–7 years. This is a lead coaching role requiring independent delivery, strong organisation and excellent communication with both children and parents.

Leapfrog Sports Solihull runs weekly multi-sports classes covering a wide range of sports including football, rugby, athletics, tennis, cricket and more.
Sessions are structured, professionally planned and parent-inclusive, creating a supportive and positive learning environment for young children developing confidence and fundamental movement skills.
The Role
Location: Alderbrook School, Solihull
Hours: Saturdays 8:45am–12:00pm (essential)
Pay: £13–£15 per hour depending on experience
Additional weekday and weekend hours may be available.
This is an active, lead coaching position. You will be responsible for:
- Leading structured multi-sports sessions independently
- Demonstrating activities clearly and confidently
- Adapting sessions to suit different abilities
- Managing equipment set-up and pack-away
- Welcoming and registering attendees
- Directing and supporting an Assistant Coach
- Maintaining safeguarding and safety standards
Parents remain present in many sessions, so confidence engaging with adults as well as children is essential.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with young children (essential)
- Confident leading sessions independently
- Reliable and able to commit to Saturday mornings
- Able to travel independently to Alderbrook School
- Access to own transport (essential for additional weekday hours and equipment transport)
- Coaching qualification desirable but not essential (training provided)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
This role would suit someone passionate about children’s sport who enjoys responsibility and leading sessions with energy and professionalism.
